UNACHI Biology theses on saprobic and ectomycorrhizal fungi linked to CIRN fieldwork

Two undergraduate Biology students working on theses about saprobic and ectomycorrhizal fungal groups joined a CIRN scientific field trip in 2015, collected specimens and used the activity for their graduation work. The trip, in Montaña Azul (Tierras Altas, Chiriquí), involved CIRN's field team, Javier De León and Hermine Lotz, together with UNACHI's School of Biology and Herbarium.
